Kaya Jones

Groomed by R. Kelly and named by Sex Pistols Steve Jones. Kaya Jones rose to prominence as one of the Lead Singers of pop music's most sensational group, "The Pussycat Dolls". Leaving the group Kaya brought her own sound to the masses and has developed her own career as a solo artist in the world of pop music. Kaya appears in the music video "How Come" by D12 and Eminem and sang backup vocals for Mick Jagger on the Golden Globe winning song "Old Habits Die Hard" (also featuring Katy Perry) from the movie Aflie.

In collaboration with Regi, the top DJ in Belgium, Kaya spent the summer of 2010 touring behind the recent success of their single, "Take It Off". The album has reached Platinum and hit the UK Dance Charts and was in the Top 10 Charts in multiple countries. Kayas single & video "Waiting for Saturday" shot in Milan, Italy released in Europe, April 2011. Kayas newest hit single and video of "Boyfriend" was dedicated to the two judges on the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge Stephen Reinhardt and Judge Michael Daly Hawkins, who had the courage to rule in favor of equality and same sex marriage which made the single a hit and a gay anthem performed at gay pride festivals throughout the United States.

April, May and June of 2011, Kaya was to the only American Female Pop artist to join the Hennessy Artistry Tour in China, touring 15 cities. "Kaya was the best International Artist they have had on this long running tour" President of Hennessy.

As a seasoned entertainer, Kaya has performed at events such as, VH1′s Diva's Live, VH1′s Fashion Rocks and MTV's Rock the Vote, What's Trending among many others. Showcasing her stunning good looks, Kaya Jones has appeared on the covers a myriad of publications and fashion magazines including: Esquire, Interview, Maxim, Stuff, FHM, Blender, Guitar and Us Weekly.

As a supporter of the troops, in 2010 Kaya did a 2-week USO tour in Iraq. Performing 2- shows each day for the troops, in the middle of the war torn desert which has been a life changing experience for her. A trailblazer, Kaya is also the only female pop artist to tour the actual outlying bases, where the only mode of transportation was Blackhawk helicopters.

In 2011 Kaya Jones became the youngest female in history to start her own record label; HueMan Race Records Inc which stands up for artists. Kaya decided to launch her company on the back of her career. With the success of her solo career and record label Kaya has signed a worldwide distribution deal. Earlier this year Kaya endorsed All Day Energy Drink and is now the face of the company which is also distributed worldwide and is now physically in the largest retail chains with TV commercials in the near future.

Kaya Jones is a proud supporter of the LGBT Community and was recently featured as an Honorary Host for GLAAD the Gay & Lesbian Alliance against Defamation. She has performed throughout the United States at many Gay Pride events showing her support of "Equality". Kaya Jones is a strong supporter in "Equality" and believes that no one should be treated differently based upon race or sexual orientation. She shows her support for the LGBT Community through her latest single "Boyfriend" which talks about her finding out her boyfriend has a boyfriend.

As featured in the online Magazine Time Out based out of Hong Kong, Kaya speaks openly about why she is eager to use her fame for good. And issues concerning gay equality are high on her list, feeling a special appreciation for her extensive gay fan base. "The gay community is close to my heart," says Jones, who has a gay family member. "Living in LA, it is something we celebrate. I think the gay community support has helped me feel free onstage. It's about being proud of who you are."
