Bagby is internationally recognized for his All-American characters in comedic and dramatic roles. After filming the movie "Walk the Line," Bagby took a leap of faith and began his journey into music, paying his dues by pouring his heart and soul into writing and singing. Coming from a musical family, it was natural for him to crossover from a successful acting career into his ninth life as a singer/songwriter.

Bagby describes his music and style as "cross country blues, California cowboy tones with a Johnny Cash essence of old country filled with Elvis moves and touches of the Beatle's dynamics in melodies and not just a typical genre."

Bagby's true passion has been, and remains, as a musician. His acting experiences, coupled with a solid background in character study, has given him the ability to craft a song for fans from any walk of life as his audiences immediately identify with him as the storyteller.

His gift of songwriting and musical style is uniquely his own, yet is equal to the star power that dominates today's country music scene. His original recordings have been featured in the #1 box office film "The Day the Earth Stood Still," and as the title track in "The Break Up Artist." Also, Bagby not only starred in short films "Bluetiful" and "20 Per Cent Off," but scored the films with his original songs. Bagby also performed the song "Counting My Lucky Stars" alongside Tim McGraw's music in the hit CBS show "Cold Case."

Bagby has an ability to define character and a natural ear which makes his soundtracks ready. He writes to the emotions and flavors as to what is being seen and felt by the actors. His acting and 25 years of studying character breakdowns give him a great advantage and helps shape his songwriting and unique musical style.

Bagby has had the opportunity to work and learn from the legendary Kenny Ortega who is known for taking music and matching it to the styles of talents or movements such as Michael Jackson or the dancing styles in "Dirty Dancing." Bagby also worked with Mark Mothersball of Devo who directed the music on the TV show "Great Scott".

An in-demand live entertainer, Bagby has worked alongside many artists spanning the evolution of music including Johnny Cash's original band, "The Tennessee Three," to current artists such as Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelly and Tyler Hilton, recording their collective effort "Drive Away."

He has opened for established acts such as Hunter Hayes, Hal Ketchum, Collin Raye, Joe Diffie, Mark Chestnutt, Restless Heart, The Bacon Bros., The Nitty Gritty Band, David Nail, Pat Green, Luke Bryan, the legendary Glen Campbell and many more.

In winter of 2012 Larry worked with Don Cromwell (bassist and songwriter for Air Supply) and producer, David Barron, to help produce and release "Where Do I Belong." In this music video Bagby delivers strong vocals and an exceptional acting performance as a country singer struggling to find his dreams.

As a musical artist, Bagby has been featured in "Country Weekly Magazine," "Country Weekly Online," "GAC,", "JohnnyCash.com" and numerous online websites. He has performed across North America in legendary venues including numerous Hollywood clubs, the music scene of Nashville, the honky-tonks of Austin, the rural routes of the South, the United States Military Bases etc. He quickly became a fan favorite during SXSW, Toronto's Indie Week, and the Sundance Film Festival. He has gained fans in the families and friends of great legends such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and many more.

While doing a two year mission in Argentina, Bagby became fluent in Spanish. This ability has allowed him to pen songs and sing in Spanish. In recent years he took his Spanish songs to the prisoners in the Val Verde prison in Del Rio, Texas. Driven by his passion to use his music to heal those in need, it did not take long before the prisoners were singing and tapping along to the Spanish tunes they were hearing.

An entertainer in many forms, Bagby listens to his heart and follows his dreams. Whether it be on screen or on the radio, his message of healing, acceptance and love is always forefront in Bagby’s presentation. It is our hope that you will see it and feel it for yourself!
